(1)表示“必须”
    must表示“必须”、“一定要”，多指现在或将来的情况。指说话人的主观语气。其否定形式表示“禁止”。
    You must finish the project by Friday.周五前你必须完成任务。
    Cars mustn't park in front of the entrance.汽车一定不要停在入口处。
    (2)表示“应当做”
    此时与should，ought to的意思差不多。
    You really must see that film.It's wonderful.你真该去看看那部电影，真是太棒了。
    You must take the cost into consideration.你应该把成本考虑在内。
    (3)表示推测
    此时常译为“一定是”、“准是”，常指有根据的比较有把握的推测。这种用法只能用于肯定句。
    Jack and Dick must be twins.They look so much alike.杰克和狄克准是双胞胎。他们长得太像了。
    (4)表示“偏偏”
    Must you waste so much time?你为什么偏偏浪费这么多时间？
    Why must it rain on Sunday?为什么偏要在星期天下雨？
    (5)表示强调
    此时常用于口语中，表示说话者坚定的态度。
    I must admit，I have been looking forward to it.我得承认我一直盼望着它。
